This course provides you with the confidence and knowledge to make informed decisions. An aerial photo of your property will help you plan and visualise what you want to do. A Horse Property Plan creates your action plan, for now and the future to ensure your property is productive environmentally, financially and personally.

The course takes you through a logical process of thinking and planning for your property.

Topics include:

  • Land use capabilities.
  • Farm water supply.
  • Drought management.
  • Fire management strategies.
  • Soils and their management.
  • Soil degradation - salinity, erosion, acidity.
  • Pest, plant and animal control.

The course includes:

  • An aerial photograph of your property.
  • Environmental information about your property.
  • 2 classroom sessions.
  • Course materials and notes.
