Call for Comment

Hi there everyone,

It has been discussed at the Wellbeing meetings as well as being brought up to me on numerous occasions in my travels in the community that some parents are having concerns with their children.  For some it has been around school work/grades for others its behavioural changes.

I am wanting peoples feedback as to:

How do you consider your children or your clients children are coping after the fires at this point in time?

What programs do you think would help your children?  For example art therapy, home work groups, fun activities, group outings, support groups

What services do you feel could be put in place to help your children?

What do you feel is missing for children and families coming to terms with the fires in our area?

Do you think it would be worthwhile running a session to discuss issues/ideas?

If there are any other suggestions/thoughts please feel free to put them down.

The information will be taken to the wellbeing group and then we (and you are more than welcome to come along J) will look at what we can do with it.

Please note that all information is completely confidential, no names will be used at anytime or under any circumstances
